IELTS tests English as it is used in work, study and everyday life. This is done by assessing all four areas of language proficiency: listening, reading, writing and speaking. FAIR TEST CONDITIONS
IELTS takes great care to assess language skills as fairly and true to the real world as possible. Because of this, IELTS is the only internationally accredited English language test where active speaking skills are not assessed via the computer, but in a face-to-face interview. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
We can organise the IELTS test for people with disabilities, including dyslexia, visual impairment etc, by giving extra time or modified papers. For extra time, please provide an up to date doctor’s certificate. For dyslexia we require a dyslexia report dated within the past two years. Please note that we need to receive medical evidence at least 6 weeks before your chosen test date. For modified papers (for example braille), please contact us at least 3 months before the chosen date for your exam, so we can together find the right solution for you.
